- I am starting my fat loss program topping the scale at 323 lbs. I have recently bounced from 300lbs back up to 321 lbs. I am about 40% body fat. My GOAL is to lose 100 lbs of fat and reach 10% body fat or less. My program is a low carbohydrate program based on Paleo and Atkins principles. I am using the best principles from about 5 diet programs and taking what I think is the optimal principles from each. I am using this approach based on my Engineering Background. As an Engineer I solve problems. And being FAT is a PROBLEM! I count myself as metabolically challenged. Both my Brother and my Mom have type 2 Diabetes. I need to lose weight NOW!
